Angela Croft

Angela Croft who was originally from the UK settled in New Zealand two decades ago. Her first degree was in fine art Illustration although her career went down a different path and she went on to become a professional landscape architect designing large scale environmental enhancement projects. 

Since moving to NZ Angela has been working as a graphic designer, she has always maintained a connection with her art background and her first transition from graphic design to the art world was with her Doggieology Artwork. Her love of dogs led her to develop a unique style of digital drawing and she produced 20 or so pure breed portraits in this style and several mixed breed commissioned works too. 

Her drawing style is unmistakable, often likened to the arts and Crafts work of William Morris. She is now beginning to explore Native species in New Zealand while also maintaining a sentimental look back at her own heritage and the Native species of Great Britain.
